Eves Hill Farm is home to 200 laying hens. Our lovely girls are an integral part of our regenerative farming system. Following our cattle around our pastures, the hens work hard spreading cow pats and eating fly larvae in the dung. This in turn reduces the fly burden on the cattle and removes the need to use chemical fly protection. The hens also add more organic fertilizer to our pastures, meaning we have no need to use synthetic fertilizers to grow grass! The hens lay their eggs and roost in a mobile egg mobile, which is moved regularly with the girls after the cattle have moved on.



Our pastured poultry system means happy healthier hens and in turn high quality, nutrient dense free-range eggs.
